Welcome to the PUP Brigade!   

Plastic is everywhere.  It is laying on the ground, it is up in trees, it is blowing in the wind and it is in the wild.  Your job, should you decide to accept it, is to pick up stray plastic everywhere you see it and make sure it is recycled.   Bags, can loops, wrappers, you name it.  Plastic is literally everywhere.  And it is ugly.

Plastic bags are not only ugly, they also kill wildlife. Due to their extremely light weight a stray bag can travel for miles and miles.  If it ends up in water ducks, fish and other marine life can swallow it and die.  You can help avoid these tragedies by simply being aware and picking up every stray piece of plastic you see.  

As a PUP Brigade member it is also your duty to eliminate as much plastic as possible from your life and recycle whatever you do use.  Soon, I hope to have reusable cloth grocery bags available with the PUP Brigade logo (in development) for sale so when the clerk asks "Plastice or Paper" you can simply smile and say "Neither!" 

I do  hope you will join us.  There is no cost.  We simply want to banish the unsightly plastic littering our nation.
