Just wanted to shoot you an email after our discussion on Tuesday, and thank you for the info you provided about gear ratios. I have talked to a few people about that, and I always get the run around. Thanks for breaking it down in such a simple way. I also wanted to let you know that I am still interested in helping with the power wheel race car. If you have some ideas about what you want, take a picture of the car from a few angles, send me the art work / example, and I can photoshop a moc up. Also I had an idea about making a custom Hack Space logo in the middle of the star on the side. Then I'll start vectorizing the art work so you can cut it out on the plotter, then the paint job will be as easy as 1 2 3. Just let me know.
Best,
Kyle
Just an idea:
Throw a few quotes on the car.
"It’s 106 miles to Chicago, We’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark, and we’re wearing sunglasses... Hit it"
This is awesome! We basically want the car to have the same stickers and words as the original bluesmobile in the movie. And we are totally up for the stuff you suggest like adding the ps:one logo to the middle of the star on the door and adding quotes from the movie. If you send me the vector files of the stickers for the car I'll cut them out of vinyl and put them on the car to see how they look. I don't think you need to go as far as doing a mockup in photoshop, but if you would like to do that here is a nice 360 view of our car here:
