So what are you doing next weekend Sunday, Oct 14th?

If just the same-ole, same-ole then I’d like to propose something. The
Chicago Area Robotics Group, BKA Chibots , along with C&ARobotfactory<http://www.carobotfactory.com/>,
will be hosting the annual Fall Chibotica<http://www.chibots.org/?q=node/1882>.
 This event is a series of competitions such as Mini Sumo, Line Following,
Line Maze Solving and LEGO Sumo. New this year is Robot Drag Racing.
Chibots would like to extend an invitation to the local Maker Spaces to
come and check it out. If you have a robot, bring it and enter it in a
competition or just display and demo it

This event has been loads of fun in the past. It is great for people who
are curious about robots and would like to get started. It is our objective
for it to be a fun and educational event. For more information about the

Jay K: I hope you are available and able to come, I am sure Nicky would be
happy to compete against your LEGO Sumo bots again :-)

*Update: *As we want this event to be as inclusive as possible, we would
like to extend an invitation to PS: 1 (and other Maker Spaces as well) to
come and display or demo anything that you would like to promote your
space. Invitations are being sent out to local schools and we are hoping
for a big turn out of kids and parents.
