Subject: Come to Garden, Stay for Free Dinner...
Hello folks,
My name is Jack, I cook for a living, but recently I've been trying to
start a small garden in my apartment in North Philly. It's too much
work for me to keep up with part-time, and I need help. So I thought,
well people pay every day to eat the food I cook, maybe they would
work for it as well.

Next Friday June 1st I'll be holding a little fundraiser at me house.
We're serving Alaskan Salmon and vegetables from the garden and some
other things for a suggested donation of $35 a head, and we're using
the profit to pay for our irrigation system. I would love it if anyone
came who is interested in food and gardening, eat with the group or
bring a date and enjoy the garden, the more the merrier and the money
is all for a good purpose. I will have vegetarian stuff available of
course. My hope is just to get a good group together and have fun.

But as far as free food goes, I'll have a lot of leftovers and I'll
make a nice family meal of them Saturday night. If you come over
Saturday afternoon, say around 2, work for a few hours, I'll have
dinner ready for you say around 6. I will provide some refreshments as
well. I hope this can become a weekly thing throughout the summer,
because I love to cook and I have lots of vegetables and I would sure
love some help maintaining them.

ALSO PLEASE READ THIS If anyone is interested in partnering up on
these type of events, I know that my ideas are not original, and that
these sort of things are going on everywhere. Well shoot me an email,
I can cook, I have vegetables, I'd love to help out/work together to
do a nice cookout or fundraiser or whatever. Lets see where it goes,
but I think it could be fun and happen all the time,

Thanks,
Jack
