When feeds are not received at subscriber end

Hi All,

When a subscriber subscribes to a topic, feeds are received at subscriber end by PUsH from HUB. Consider a situation where a subscriber is subscribed to a topic and feeds are not received at subscriber end. There could be few possible reason for this
   
    1) No new feeds from publishers/HUB
    2) Subscriber application is not working properly
  
Option 2 can be debugged easily but option 1 is difficult. A subscriber has no knowledge of any changes in topic. So I feel there is a need of some kind of system from HUB end which can indicate whether there are PUsH from HUB for that topic or not.

Thoughts are welcomed!!!

Swaroop,

Well, there is such a system : it's the discovery. 

When a publisher adds a rel="hub" to their feeds, they MUST (as per the spec) notify the hub upon new changes... so things should work as expected.
