First Aid and CPR (Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation)

This represents the most common type of first aid training and it is designed for adolescent and adults, regardless of their line of work. This type of course combines first aid techniques, such as caring for burns, fractures, or open wounds with CPR protocols. This class may also contain additional information on the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). This type of training is a standard requirement in numerous workplaces nowadays so joining one would be a great idea.

Sports Safety Training

This first aid course is focused on treating injuries that typically occur in sports environments, such as sprains, torn ligaments, fractures, contusions, and so on. Sports safety training also teaches participants ways in which they can prevent injuries from occurring. This type of first aid course is perfect for coaches, athletes, or sports enthusiasts, although anyone is free to attend it.

Emergency First Aid

This first aid course helps participants assess emergency situations, provide immediate care for victims with critical injuries, and proper ways of notifying medical personnel. This type of first aid class also involves basic CPR training. Once again, this type of course is open to anyone interested, but it is more suitable for people who encounter emergency situations as part of their work routine, such as lifeguards, mountain rescuers, and so on.

Babysitter Training

This training course is designed for older children, more specifically, 11 to 15-year olds and involves basic first aid measures that may come in handy while performing babysitting tasks.

First Aid for Children

You are never too young to start learning first aid, so if you have any kids, you might consider enrolling them in a training course as early on as possible. Most first aid for children courses are designed for kids of 5 years of age and upwards and involve a few basic care principles that are easy to learn and apply.

Pet First Aid

If you are the proud owner of a cat, dog, or any other pet, you might consider enrolling in a special type of first aid course that teaches you how to care for your little bundle of joy.
