There are many career opportunities available for ambitious students in the health industry. Six of the most in demand health occupations include certified nurse's assistants or aids (CNAs), medical assistants, dental assistants, and medical office managers. In addition the need is high for clinical medical assisting who are familiar and have experience with medical coding and billing. Medical assisting with coding and office administration experience and those with dental assisting and radiology training are highly sought after in dental clinics.

If your abilities lead to understanding and working with patients and you want to help and serve others, choosing a rewarding career in the medical field will allow you the financial freedom plus the personal satisfaction that comes with a medical certification.

Programs can be found at allied health schools that cover a huge range of studies and certifications from hands on clinical work to administrative programs that deal with the business side of the medical field. One of the most sought after employees are those that have billing and coding experience, administrative medical assistant training, and CNA's with administrative capabilities and certification.

You will find that programs that align themselves with state departments of education, labor & workforce departments as well as health & senior services have the best all-around programs. Ensure that your chosen school is also affiliated with the HIPPA training and exams board, various state training associations and selected boards of nursing.
