The Taylor Swift Tour is in full swing and the buzz is already all over town that if you miss this concert, you are missing the show of the year. If you have not yet managed to see her live, there is still plenty of time before the tour wraps up on June 5th. However, tickets are sold out for just about every show and only available through online retailers.
Taylor Swift burst onto the scene just a few years ago, but it has not taken her very long to capture the hearts of men and the loyalty of women. Her music is on just about every teenage girl's iPod and there are plenty of guys that are walking around humming her tunes. There is little to not like about Taylor Swift.
She has experienced nothing but success since her first release in 2006. Having your first album go multi-platinum is truly spectacular, but she has hardly let it go to her head. To this day, Taylor continues work just as hard, if not harder than any other entertainer does in the business. That hard work is paying off time and again as just about everything that she produces goes right to the top of the charts.
She is definitely one of the new breed of artists that has made the most of the new reality TV shows that are centered on the entertainment industry. Shows like American Idol are turning no names into somebody's almost overnight. While she was already doing quite well before she appeared on America's Got Talent in 2007, this served as her official indoctrination to anyone else who has been sleeping under a rock and had not yet heard of her.
After releasing her second album in 2008, Taylor Swift started garnering even more attention as one of the heirs to the throne of best female artist. Her album went to the top of the charts from the moment that it was released there and kept a death grip on its position for quite some time. As a matter of fact, it held the number one spot longer than any other record had for the last ten years.
It was only a matter of time before the awards started to accumulate for her and 2009 saw the first of what will probably be many Artist of the Year awards. To think that she was only twenty years old at the time is pretty amazing. She had already experienced success that other artists dream about for their entire career. The scary thing for the rest of the industry is that her fan base grows every single day.
Tickets for her current tour are hard to come by, but they are available. As mentioned earlier, all but one of Taylor Swift's shows are sold out, but the tickets are still available through online brokers. However, they are probably not going to last much longer on there either so it would be a smart move to get them as soon as possible.
