As with all other cosmetic enhancements teeth whitening has its choices and trends. At the start of the trend the method was to have custom made teeth whitening trays made from your dentist. This would mean you would need to have a check up, appointment with a hygienist and then an further appointment to create an impression of the teeth and jaw which a custom made whitening tray can be made from.
These trays were usually used over night for at least a month to whiten your teeth whilst you sleep. It was a costly and lengthy way to whiten your teeth but it was all that was available.
The next trend that hit the market was the laser teeth whitening method. This is where with the use of a whitening gel and light the teeth can be whitened with in an hour. The gums are protected by a gum dam and then the whitening gel and light are applied in four ten minute applications taking up to an hour. The results are instant and usually very good. Following �Laser� teeth whitening came �Zoom� which in principle is the same method as Laser but has just been rebranded into �Zoom�. Zoom is now also known as �Power Whitening�. Things haven't moved on an awful lot since Zoom but it is far more readily available from beauty salons, therapy centers and clinics across the country.
It is also a good idea to look at a combination of the two methods. Laser teeth whitening to give you the instant fresh white smile that you are looking for and they using teeth whitening trays to top up and maintain you teethes nice new whiter look. Laser teeth whitening top ups which are about 15 minutes long are always another option to help you maintain the smile of your dreams!
Generally now a days the public spending seems to grow and grow within the cosmetic and beauty industry more and more year by year. As treatments are now more assessable and affordable everyone of all ages are jumping on the journey towards perfection it maybe hair, nails, teeth, skin or cosmetic surgery itself.
The internet provides a wealth of information on all teeth whitening methods and can inform you on professional reputable companies offering the treatments. The results can vary from client to client and this is something that you may also want to bear in mind. Everyone's teeth are a different shade naturally not everyone is blessed with pearly whites.
