Professionals who are theoretically and practically proficient in their respective fields may be referred to as technicians. They may not be the end service providers but they are definitely the behind-the-door specialists who make it all possible.
Almost all fields have availability for jobs as Technician. Some of the hottest and fastest growing fields for technicians are:

Veterinary Technicians/Technologists �
These technicians are required to perform medical tests to diagnose illness or diseases of animals under the supervision of a qualified veterinarian.
