August 8, 2009, Wan Zhen Xin Magnesium Wenxi city pairs-stage gas furnace company built and put into use. Dual-stage gas furnace is the investment 30 million yuan in the original single-stage gas furnace made of on the basis of transformation will enable the company produces 1 ton of magnesium dropped 10 tons of coal consumption by 4.72 tons.
After 20 years of development, to the end of 2007, Wenxi magnesium has 36 manufacturing enterprises, the annual production capacity of up to 18 million tons. Magnesium industry to promote the scientific development, Wenxi introduced a series of measures and policies to encourage enterprises to the production of metal magnesium production process and implement a complete transformation in order to reduce waste of resources, increase economic efficiency. - Power to promote energy-saving technological transformation. In 2007, Wenxi magnesium industry accumulatively invested 1.3 billion to build and in the construction of a gas furnace 65, Regenerative reduction furnace 173, rotary kiln 13. After the transformation, tons of magnesium dolomite consumption by 12 tons to 10 tons, saving rate was 16%; tons from 1.25 tons of magnesium ferrosilicon consumption down to 1.1 tons, saving rate was 12%; tons of magnesium dropped 10 tons of coal consumption by 4.72 t, saving rate was 52.8%; tons of sulfur dioxide emissions from magnesium reduced to 0.032 tons from 0.086 tons, energy-saving emission reduction results are obvious economic efficiency of enterprises improved markedly.
- Accelerate the implementation of an integrated upgrade. At present, the county magnesium from the original 36 companies integrate the 20 production capacity from 16 million tons to 300,000 tons, accounting for the province, the National magnesium production capacity to 40%, 30%. County plan then five years, the metal magnesium business into 10, so that magnesium alloy production and deep processing capacity to 30 million tons.
- To develop deep-processing. Wenxi Group has implemented a silver magnesium alloy production line, die-casting production line, profile extrusion production line, sheet production line, semi-continuous casting production line and other metal rod deep processing of magnesium key projects, so that the original magnesium processing capacity of the county up to 6 million tons. This year, the county has initiated an annual output of 10,000 tons silver group with high-speed train project and the annual output of magnesium alloy profiles 10,000 tons of magnesium alloy continuous casting and rolling plate construction projects. After the completion of the project will enable the county magnesium processing capacity of additional 20,000 tons.
- To actively develop a circular economy. In the use of magnesium slag to develop the production of new wall materials, while actively encouraging the relevant industry Wenxi magnesium slag for recycling, turning waste into treasure. Xinguang cement and cement to use the county's second production of magnesium slag cement raw materials, recyclable 150,000 tons per year of magnesium slag.
