You can download full PSP games online using software that enables you to do that. However, once you have the software, you must make sure that the games you download are legal. That means that you should not download any PSP games that are still covered by copyright. How do you do that? Let's discuss the software first.

File Sharing Software

Sometimes referred to as P2P software, file sharing software enables you to download full PSP games once you have paid your membership for the downloading site. That membership could be for a year, two years or even for a lifetime use, so you can use it forever to download any games you want - if they are legally free for you to download. We shall discuss the legalities later, but for now let's discuss on what membership of such sites offers you.

First you get the file sharing software link that enables you to find who else on the network has the game you want. There may be only the one other hard disk containing your game, or there might be dozens. Irrespective of the number, if you decide to download full PSP games to your hard disk then you simply click on the name of the game, and then wait until it downloads you your computer - then you can start playing.

So where are the problems?

The first is that the game might be protected by copyright, meaning that you cannot legally download it. If you are caught doing so you could face a heavy fine, although very, very small numbers of people are actually caught doing this and of the billions involved in copying games illegally, less than a hundred are prosecuted each year.

However, that is not to suggest that you should do so: on the contrary, you should make sure that when you download PSP games they are old and not covered by copyright. If you get the right software package, it will tell you if a particular game is protected or not, and will ask if you want to continue. You should click 'NO', but that is your decision.

You Can Also Download Movies and Music

The same files sharing software enables you to download movies and music as well as games. Because of the way that the P2P file sharing system operates, by searching for specific file names and then extensions, it can be used to download online free movies, free music or free games from the dame lifetime subscription.

So beware of this type of software - it can be used for perfectly legal research purposes, or for downloading public domain games, movies and music or even those that then originator is offering free online and has freed the copyright for a period of time. This happens regularly with new singers and bands, and even PSP games programmers will use file sharing online to offer new games to users for evaluation on a first come first served basis.

So if you are set on finding out how to download full PSP games, then there is software that enables you to do so, but because of its nature it cannot tell right from wrong, so it can be used to download bootleg movies illegally just as well as you can download full PSP games.

Once you have paid for a membership with such sites the choice is yours, but make sure you make the wise move and download only the legal games and don't be tempted to get the latest games online and download full PSP games for free that have just been released and must therefore have copyright protection. Many do so, and practically none are found out, so maybe the authorities should become more aware of the problem - until then it is your choice. Make the right one!
