Types of Drugs
There are mainly two forms of drugs. One is the branded drugs and the other is the generic drugs. Branded drugs are much costlier as they are manufactured from reputed pharmaceutical companies through a lot of expensive and research having the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) certification. Generic drugs don�t have the brand name but it�s not unrecognized by FDA.
It doesn�t mean that generic drugs do not work properly. Their effects are same as that of the branded but it is much lesser in price as its cost of production is less.

As per research it is found that generic drugs are also safe. In fact it can do wonders on the patients. It is a blessing for those who can�t afford to purchase branded drugs because of their exorbitant prices. But many doctors also recommend generic drugs apart from the branded ones. So take it safely. Generic drugs are also low in price as they are not produced by big pharmaceutical industries and even not promoted in the media but the fact is that the term, safest and lowest price doesn�t go with each other all the time.
