Using hair shampoos may have some negative effects on hair, while a good hair conditioner can be a perfect choice to prevent and treat those effects. The idea is that our hair follicles produce natural oil called sebum which acts as a natural antiseptic and protects our hair. Our hair needs regular cleansing as grime and dirt stick to this sebum during the day, when we are out.

Ordinary soaps are not able to do this job, so we need a mild hair shampoo to cleanse the scalp, but in addition to dirt and grime, the shampoo also takes away some of our sebum. Here comes the need for a product that restores this balance of the oils and replaces them, thus moisturizing hair and giving them a shine.

There are various kinds of hair conditioners that we can choose from, depending upon the kind of our hair and the purpose of conditioning that we have in mind:

Leave on hair conditioner- People suffering from damaged hair and who have non-manageable flying hair, the product is the perfect choice for them, as it adds shine to the hair and helps them to retain moisture.

Homemade hair conditioner- In such conditioners, the ingredients such as olive oil and avocado act as the humectants. These conditioners trap the moisture inside and lock it up, so that hair continues to receive moisture that it needs. Avocado is an effective moisturizing element and is perfect for brittle and dry hair. While making a home made ones using avocado, the ingredients needed include avocado, mashed and peeled, mayonnaise, food processor or blender.

You need to combine mayonnaise and avocado in a food processor or blender until it becomes smooth and consistent. Apply this on the hair and cover it up with a shower cap for at least 15-20 minutes. After that, rinse it off using a gentle shampoo.

Deep hair conditioners- Every body do not need deep treatment, but they are the ones for really unmanageable hair. In fact, it is a must for permed, curly, relaxed or straightened hair; otherwise, using it 2 times a month is more than sufficient.

Natural hair conditioner- The ingredients of a natural products include milk, honey and plant extracts like henna. This can be used every day as it is harmless because it does not contain any chemicals, and is perfect for any type of hair including thick, thin, curly, straight, oily and dry hair.

Conditioner for breaking hair- The formula of a conditioner for breaking hair helps the scalp in absorbing the benefits of cleansing action, and the conditioner includes agents of moisture giving the scalp a shiny lustrous and healthy hair, and also facilitates the growth of hair.

Long hair conditioners- Long hair are difficult to manage and need extra care. It prevents damage of the scalp and hair, make the hair strong and moisturize the scalp.

Solid hair conditioner- It is also good for scalp and hair, especially if the hair is excessively dirty and grimy.

Not only humans, but dogs also need to have healthy hair. After all, everybody likes to play with a beautiful and lustrous dog, which is actually the lustre of its hair. So, in order to make it more attractive and soft, the product for dogs with ingredients like chlorhexidine acetate cleanses and restores the lustre to hair coat of dogs.
