Wildfire pepper sprays are some of the hottest made, containing an 18% concentration of oleoresin capsicum, the chemical that makes peppers so hot. The concentration of oleoresin capsicum affects its Scoville Heat Unit rating, which is a measurement of just how much the pepper spray will burn. This chemical has a rating of 3 million Scoville heat units (SHU), compared to around 300,000 to 500,000 for the hottest habanero pepper. Most other pepper sprays are rated at around 2 million SHU. Because Wildfire sprays use only the hottest cayenne peppers to derive the chemicals for the spray, this pepper spray is unbelievably hot.
Wildfire pepper spray is one of only a handful of defense spray formulations with a concentration above 10 percent. Although conventional wisdom holds that pepper sprays over ten percent are unable to be propelled out of the can, new technology is allowing hotter and hotter pepper sprays. Because of its high concentration of oleoresin capsicum, Wildfire sprays react nearly instantaneously on the skin and with the mucous membranes, stopping the attack quickly.
The Wildfire pepper spray is well known for being easy to use and effective. As soon as you press the button, the pepper spray will come shooting out at your attacker. Its eighteen percent OC concentration makes it one of the strongest pepper sprays ever marketed. A quick blast from the canister will disable any attacker for up to 45 minutes, giving you plenty of time to escape the situation. Wildfire pepper sprays also incorporate dye to mark your attacker, making it easier for police to make a positive identification.
A blast of Wildfire pepper spray will take any attacker down quickly. It simply isn't possible to fight the effects of this strong spray, which include temporary blindness, coughing, and pain. This incredibly powerful spray is certainly something you do not want to get hit with. There's a reason why Wildfire pepper spray is also popular with law enforcement agencies around the world it really works.
Wildfire pepper spray comes in five sizes, from half an ounce to a full pound of pepper spray. The smallest keychain can be taken with you everywhere you go, while the largest Wildfire pepper spray canister is an ideal choice for protecting your family against burglars and home invasions. The wide range of sizes means there's bound to be one that is perfect for your needs, no matter what situation you may encounter. Keep Wildfire pepper spray in your handbag or pocket, attached to your keychain, in your car or RV, or in your home anywhere you might need to protect yourself. The larger sizes, which are also designed for use by police, come in two different styles: one with a handle like that found on a fire extinguisher, and other with a pistol-type handle. Both are easy to use even if you have no training or experience.
It is always important to check your state and local laws before purchasing pepper spray. This is particularly true with Wildfire pepper spray because of its high OC concentration. Michigan and Wisconsin, for example, have both placed limits on the maximum concentration of pepper spray.
