In a diverse country such as Canada, it is common to meet people with foreign roots and different traits as well as culture. Russian people in particular, are quite common specifically in the province of Ontario. According to the 2006 Census, there are 500,600 Russian-Canadians in Canada.
In terms of dating Russian women in Canada, it is imperative that you know their line of thinking. Back in Russia, men and women have their distinct places in society. But in Canada, these Russians tend to blend with the country’s own culture. So they make it a point that they are in harmony with the community. In Russia where chivalry somehow still exists, men are obliged to open doors for women. That is not the case in Canada. Such deeds are considered attacks on the individuality of a woman. In dating Russian women in Canada, it is relatively easier.
