With the rising cost of electricity threatening to send your household budget out of kilter every month, looking for alternate energy sources seems the only solution. You simply place the magnets with the polarities going in the same direction around a gear or for a smaller generator, a round a rotor. This will create a platform or gear that can rotate around a central axle. All magnetic generators act on the principle of magnetic-induced perpetual motion.
The magnets use the attraction and repulsion of opposing polarities from a second magnetic source. This causes the central gear to rotate. As they pass, the magnets and are alternately attracted and repulsed, and a resulting electrical charge is generated. This is what causes your generator to produce electricity that can then be used to power appliances, run lighting and other household items.
In a larger magnetic generator, often the magnets are wrapped with wire in order to assist in the generation process. The magnets may be available at your local hardware store or you may also be able to purchase them online from a supplier’s website.
Although it is not difficult to build a generator, you will need some specific diagrams if you want to ensure the success of your project. These can be found quite easily online and often use materials that are easy to locate and inexpensive to purchase.
The Amount Of Energy Depends On The Size Of The Generator
The amount of energy your generator can produce will depend on the number of magnets and their strength. Even a large generator capable of powering your home at least partially will not take up an excessive amount of room. The generator can be located near your main electrical panel and if you install a switch, you will be able to choose whether you will use conventional electricity or switch to your magnetic generator.
