Having your teeth whitened could make a considerable positive impact on your life as your self confidence grows and people you meet perceive your new white smile as attractive and friendly.
Sometimes in life we only look at the face value benefits of something and this includes teeth whitening. We want whiter teeth but do not always consider the other benefits that having whiter teeth could enhance our every day lives.
For example having whiter teeth makes us look more attractive so meeting someone in your love life is a real possibility. This is because when you yellow staining on the teeth you become less desirable to anyone you meet and therefore less likely to find that true love. A whiter smile makes your face light up and also makes you look younger.
Another example which we have briefly touched on in making you look younger. As we get older the teeth gather more staining which is accumulated over the years and as a result get yellow or even brownish in colour. Teeth whitening can make them look whiter and therefore this renewing of colour on the teeth makes you look younger. A simple thing like whitening can really make such a positive difference to the smile.
Business is another area that teeth whitening can help you. In business you need to influence people and having a great smile can make people warm to you and help build great business relationships. One of the typical traits of having yellow teeth is people do not smile as much and therefore reduce the impact when you meet someone new in business. Also in sales roles they say the smile sells, well you might as well get a white one as this will increase your commissions as the sales roll in!
When it comes to the actual treatment you really have three options- home kits or do it yourself kits, bleaching trays offered by your dentist or the laser whitening system. What system you go for will depend on two considerations. The first is money and how much you have and want to invest in getting a new smile and the second is time. How much time do you want to invest in whitening the teeth. With the home kits you will need to do this yourself at home for a period of a few weeks to start seeing the results but this is why this option is cheaper.
The other option is the laser system which is more expensive but only takes one hour to get a white smile. So if you have available budget and little time then laser is probably the best option for you and the results are instant so no waiting for a days to see the results.
Bleaching trays are similar they take much longer to work as the trays need to worn for a few hours every day for fourteen consecutive days for the teeth to start changing colour.
Always consult your dentist and keep regular appointments to maintain goo dental health.
