There�s something peculiar about the Indian media, it somehow loves sensationalism. How else can one explain why the alleged Hyderabad land scam was actually branded Emaar MGF Scam? It is very simple, the Indian news media market is limited but has far too many players. In the bid to outshine other news channels, some media houses start playing the dirty game of sensationalism to increase TRPs and earn Advertizing revenue. This is why you would notice that a lot of alleged scams and controversies are pinned to names which are popular and are easily memorable to generate interest of viewers without any considerations to the harm it can cause to innocent parties alleged to be a part of it. The finest example can be seen in the nomenclature of Hyderabad land scam which was actually branded Emaar MGF Scam. Emaar, which entered the Indian real estate sector in the year 2003and partnered a local player, MGF, as was the requirement of Indian laws governing real estate sector, was shocked to see its name being thrown into a dirty & politically motivated controversy but has not let it impact its plans for the Indian market. Emaar MGF remains bullish about the Indian real estate scenario & is seeing huge growth in its Indian arm.
Unhindered by the alleged Emaar MGF scam, the real estate company is going all out prove why it is known the world over as the finest real estate company. Emaar is also active in the US market through mergers and acquisitions, especially after the US subprime crisis which caused a wave of recession throughout the world. Emaar, on the other hand, remained profitable throughout this period of recession and it is no surprise that it countered the alleged Hyderabad land scam so easily considering its transparent operations and its commitment to excellence. Emaar MGF scam allegations have long been forgotten by the company and it continues on its path to become India�s finest real estate company.
