Kenya has many national parks, game reserves, private sanctuaries, conservancies and major cities which do attract tourists and investors. We do have commercial flights into some of the destinations but since they are not enough to meet the demand, airlines and private operators have the services of private flights. Private charter flights are segmented to meet different needs in air travel namely, private air taxi charter flights, scenic charter flights, filming charter flights, air ambulance charter flights, private executive jet charter flights,VIP Executive jet charter flights, emergency evacuation charter flights and many others.
Private Air Taxi Charter Flights Kenya
These are flights chartered for private use but in the normal configuration. These services are provided from any where within Kenya and the fleet used is from single engine piston and turbo prop, twin engine piston and turbo prop and jets. Private air taxi charter flights are available but subject to availability at the time of inquiry and are charged on either hourly basis or at cost per mile. Private air taxi charter flights are charged differently from the scheduled flights. Private air taxi charter flights is charged based capacity of the aircraft and the cost is charged from departure airport to destination back to base unlike scheduled flights where you are charged based on your request one-way or return. For private flights one-way is charged double and return four times. Private air taxi charter flights are regarded as special as the discretion of choosing the time is at the traveler but the operator has the responsibility to advice otherwise due to weather, opening and close of the airport which is the major determinant on time choosing. With private air taxi charter flights the client can request to be allowed to take photographs and also for diversion but note this has to be arranged earlier before departure so that the exact costs can be charged. These flights are premier and they are provided on personalized are with extra services. This services are VIP in nature and some of the aircraft like the Citation Bravo Jet 560 8 seater has toilets, conference table, intercom communication,DVD,WiFi and breakfast, lunch and dinner can be provided on board should the travelers request for,Champagne,hot and soft drinks,snacks,mineral water is provided on board,tea,coffee and there is an in-flight attendant on board and the aircraft is operated by two crew who have over 4,500 flying hours experience and with 1,500 hours experience on jets alone. The crew undergoes refresher courses, recurrence and an annual training at flight safety international.VIP Executive charter flights are segmented to meet the needs of travelers who needs privacy and comfort. These services are used for emergencies are vital for travelers and we do recommend every traveler should take insurance cover. The insurance cover only covers the geographical areas within the itinerary of your travel and should want to change the itinerary, please advice the insurance company otherwise should something happen out the geographical areas covered then there would be no compensation. Air operators in Kenya have these services on 24/7 call with nurses, doctors, pilots, engineers and operations staff on stand-by for air ambulance or emergency evacuation flights. The aircraft are equipped with medical equipment like oxygen cylinder; stretcher and the other medicine will be based on the situation of the patient. The air ambulance services are provided globally and the emergency evacuation flights are provided to individual governments, international organization, United Nations,European Union,Non-Governmental organizations. We have joined with a medical company who provides the medical and we provide the flights. Operators are equipped and we provide search and rescue missions and airlifting patients from remote areas to where there is specialized medical. For search & rescue mission we move people from where there is insecurity in terms of war or floods and more them to safe place. Where there are floods we use helicopters and in war torn areas we use aircraft with pressurized cabin which can fly at a higher altitude .Due to uncertainty of the safari and the safari activities and due to the challenges in the national parks, game reserves, private sanctuaries and conservancies.
