You have to realize, when preparing a nursery for a girl, that the nursery and the girl baby bedding will be the source of baby’s first clear impressions. Though her eyes are only half-open, she certainly sees and feels her surroundings, perhaps more intensely than adults. In fact our most potent subconscious stimuli may have been acquired during childhood. For this reason, molding and educating the person should start in the nursery.

Obviously the things that the baby is most intimate within the nursery are her beddings. Little baby girl will spend most of the first year of life lying in, rolling in or otherwise wrapped in her beddings. The texture and colors of her sheets will be her first sensations regarding touch and vision. The light, as reflected from her beddings, is all she knows of beauty. And she won’t get much inspiration from old and worn-out beddings. The very first concern you should have is to provide baby with beddings that are colorful, non-toxic and soft. Girl baby bedding will also be an excellent way to start preparing a nursery for a girl.

To create a world of beauty for your baby, many varieties of themes and colors in girl baby bedding are available for preparing a nursery for a girl. The Little Princess motif is associated with castles with tall spires against a fair blue sky. Flower gardens and bouquets are also part of this theme. You could even have the crib custom made to look like that of a princess.

If you prefer the adventurous mood, doing the nursery in the Little Cow Girl manner might be a good suggestion. Sheets with multicolored bandana prints in vivid primary hues, bright cowgirl studs and graceful lassos are associated with this theme.

The Little Fairy theme is another popular one. The bedcovers will have a light lavender or soft baby pink hue. You could have wall paper with angel fairies in gossamer gowns with glimmering halos, glittering elf dust and fairy pixies flying about.

The Magic Circus theme is an interesting theme in girl baby bedding. Dumbo elephants with large pink ears, slender acrobats and lions jumping through mint-stick hoops are among the images that suggest this motif.

For a tropical atmosphere in the nursery, you could use the Hawaiian Hula theme and choose beddings with tropical trees and blue ocean, some exotic fruits and flowers. The wall paper could have images of slender hula dancers with bright leis swaying in the pearly sand.

If you drop into a website specializing in baby beddings, you will find a wealth of possibilities for girl baby bedding.

No matter what theme you decorate the nursery with, keep in mind that it is likely to affect the development of the child profoundly. This is especially true if the nursery will remain her room far into late childhood. You need to be sure that the sense of beauty and life that greets her in her early years will be appropriate to sustain her dreams during her adulthood.
