A common problem in almost all marriages is that after a certain period of time, the romance fizzles out. It doesnt matter whether the marriage is arranged or born out of love; truth is, after the first few glorious years of marriage, the sparks simply go missing. Problems begin as soon as the two people involved in a marriage get too comfortable around one another. They start taking each other for granted and do not feel the need to put any effort in the relationship. The excitement disappears and love takes a backseat. The two people get too habituated in each others company to feel anything special about their relationship. The trick to keeping the chemistry alive is actually pretty simple. You just need to turn your daily chores in to a form of dating; you simply need to turn your home in to the most romantic place on earth. You can make a regular and mundane thing like cooking turn in to a lovely, daily activity with your spouse by following a few tips. These tips are as follows:
1.Cooking Together: The idea of a perfect romance has nothing to do with a great restaurant, or some other fancy location. People and their bonding make relationships work. To ensure that your partner doesnt feel neglected in any way, you should try doing chores like cleaning, cooking, etc. together. Cooking is a great way to be intimate with your spouse. After a hard days work, no one wants to have to cook. So, by helping your spouse with the cooking, not only are you dividing the labor, but also, you are showing solidarity and being supportive.
2.Make Your Kitchen Romantic: The first step to cooking together is having a really great kitchen. Your kitchen needs to have as many modern appliances as you can afford and it should be well stocked, it should be clean and brightly painted. The decoration of the kitchen should be such that people dont get tired just by the thought of having to cook. The ambience should be bright, positive and should radiate energy.
3.Try New Recipes Together: Cooking can be very adventurous if you want it to be. Try to make it as much fun as possible. There are some people who genuinely enjoy cooking, but most people dont. But all people like trying new things, especially if they have their beloved spouses beside them. Trying to cook new items can be really good fun. You can note down recipes from TV shows or can get a decent cook book. Creating something new together is a great way to bond. Even if you end up cooking something that tastes really bad, youll always laugh about it together. Trying interesting new recipes together makes cooking interesting and often, couples actually look forward to the time when they get back home to try some new recipe together.
4.Clean Up After Cooking: One of the worst regular chores is cleaning up the kitchen after you have cooked and eaten. This is one subject that has been the seed of breaking many marriages. This is a really irritating daily job and it simply cant be avoided. So, instead of trying to pass the buck, its best to clean up together. Apparently, theres nothing romantic about it, but by doing this, you will make sure that your partner knows that youll always be there for them, through thick and thin.
5.Communicate While Cooking: You should always discuss all sorts of stuff while cooking. You should talk about how your respective days went and other topics. Make this a regular habit. Most couples break up because they dont talk about their lives and feelings. Cooking is a great way to keep the fire alive.
Even if you are too busy to cook and have a chef, you should cook with your spouse on every weekend. This way, you and your spouse can continue your crazy romance throughout your lifetimes.
