Andhra Pradesh state government had the grand vision of making its state one of the most prominent in the entire country. It requires the huge task of revamping the infrastructure of the entire state mainly its capital city, Hyderabad. Hyderabad was steadily emerging as the destination of various foreign companies as well as tourist alike. With this vision in hand, state undertaking APIIC or Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited started several projects on its own as well as with foreign collaboration to give light to this vision. Emaar Properties is no stranger to this grand strategy of APIIC since 2003. The Dubai based real estate firm joined hand with APIIC to gift Hyderabad the largest convention centre in the whole country, HICC or Hyderabad International Convention Centre and in 2006 another wondrous venture, the luxurious Novotel Hyderabad Hotel opened amid huge fanfare.
With the tremendous success it received, APIIC and Emaar again came together to develop a prestigious township in Gaichibowli area of Hyderabad. This township was planned to be the epitome of luxury and leisure. The township was named as Boulder Hills after the much acclaimed Beverly Hills in the United States. However, execution of such a grand plan is not free from hurdles. APIIC soon became embroiled in an ugly controversy over illegal acquisition of lands for Boulder Hill which it handed over to Emaar Mgf for development and the real estate baron was allegedly co-accused of siphoning off the plot at lesser price to the public. This entire mess came to be infamously known as Emaar Case, though strongly refuted by Emaar MGF and Emaar properties as false and baseless. The case came under the scrutiny of public investigator CBI and several Emaar accused has emerged due to extensive cooperation between Emaar MGF CBI. This soon resulted in summons to all Emaar accused parties. Continued investigation by CBI has foiled the plans of parties with vested interest to mar the name of this reputed firm. Giving a peep into the real dealings, Emaar MGF CBI corroboration has made the real Emaar accused writ large.
Emaar Properties is famous for its contemporary architectural designs and innovative lifestyle concepts. Since its inception in 1997 in Dubai, one of the seven emirates that collectively form the United Arab Emirates, Emaar Properties has seen its share of upheaval in the rapidly developing Dubais real estate industry. Listed as a Public Joint Stock Company in the Dubai Stock exchange, Emaar Properties has grown its operational base in the entire Middle East, Turkey, Syria, Morocco, Egypt, Pakistan and India amongst other. With several interests such as hospitality, retail, healthcare, education and financial investment, Emaar Properties has more than 50 active companies under its Empire. Several wondrous creations like the Dubai Mall and world tallest building Burj Khalifa under its belt, Emaar Properties starting replicating its Dubai success stories in scores of countries like Africa and India, where the demands exceeds supply and are rich sources of resources. In India, it joined local real estate player MGF to form one of the most prestigious real estate company in the subcontinent Emaar MGF. Since then, it continues to rule the Indian market with its excellent architecture and innovative designs.
