Even with today�s expansive kitchens, counter space can be at a premium, especially with all the gadgets we have, from bread and Panini makers to blenders, toaster ovens and microwaves.
As anyone who loves to cook knows, it doesn�t take long before your counters are filled, not only with your appliances, but pots, pans and mixing bowls. This is particularly true when you�re hosting a party.
Kitchen island carts can be a real godsend in these cases. Easy to move about and offering lots of convenience, kitchen island carts offer you a lot of flexibility when it comes to meal preparation and having enough room to spread out.
Kitchen island carts come in all shapes and styles. The most basic models are simply a rolling cart with some shelves and a tabletop. These are great for holding your extra cookware or even the microwave and other appliances to free up your regular counter space. Down below, you can keep your bowls and cooking utensils.

There you can use the island as extra counter space, including using the tabletop for a cutting board. When you�re all through. Roll everything back into the kitchen on the cart. No more shuttling dishes and utensils back and forth a load at a time. Everything is on the island, ready to be put away or cleaned whenever you�re ready.
