Cyprus is not renowned for its skiing as you cannot rely on the snow. If it is going to snow it usually occurs between December and March up in high Troodos and the sights are spectacular. Imagine waking up in your room in the Jubilee hotel in Troodos Mountains in Cyprus and looking out over the peaks to see them snow covered and glistening in the morning sun. If you are a nature lover then you will be delighted with the flora and fauna in the Troodos Mountains, did you know that wild orchids grow in the area?
