General Binding Corporation (GBC) makes some the binding world's best plastic comb binding machines. They come in a lot of sizes and are good for beginners as well as more advanced operators. Plus, they can bind documents of varying lengths. Check out the following five great comb binding machines from GBC...
1. The CombBind C110. This is a terrific entry-level comb binding machine and is the perfect choice for organizations looking to bind documents a few times a week. The C110 can punch up to 15 sheets of 20 lb. paper at once and it can bind documents that contain a maximum of 300 pages. Choosing your combs will be easy thanks to a selector guide. The C110 is also compatible with GBC ZipBind spines. This machine has two levers: one for punching and another that will open and close your combs. There's also an adjustable edge guide that will allow you to use oversize covers.
2. The BindMate Personal CombBind and Three-Hole Punch. As its name suggests, the BindMate is both a small binding machine and a three-hole punch, so it's good device to get if your office happens to need both of these things. It can bind documents that are up to 125 pages long. When using this device as a three-hole punch, you can punch up to 8 sheets at once. This product is lightweight and it has a built-in handle so you can transport it whenever you need to.
3. The CombBind C110e. The C110e is a good choice if your organization needs an electric device for medium-duty use. It can create books that are up to 300 pages long and it will punch up to 15 sheets per lift. The C110e has an adjustable edge guide so you can use oversized covers and you can even use GBC ZipBind spines. Plus, there's a comb selector you can use if you're not sure what size you need.
4. The CombBind C450E. This is one of GBC's newest electric products and it has some wonderful features. It can bind books that are up to 450 pages long with 2" combs. It also punches a lot of paper at once: up to 25 sheets per lift. Punching is easy; all you need to do is insert your pages and touch a button. The C450E is compatible with ZipBind spines so you can create documents that are easy to edit. Also, the C450E has a document separator that will separate your sheets into the appropriate amount for punching and the auto centering system positions the paper perfectly.
