Corbett is one place which needs no introduction at all. If you want to see rare species of animals and a fierce tiger, then this is the place where you need to go. Jim Corbett National Park is famous for its tigers which is a rare sight in summers. You should go to Corbett in winters because that is the time when the tigers step out to bathe in the sun. If it is your first time here, you do not have to worry too much about tigers eating you up. You can find many hotels in Corbett which guarantee comfort and convenience. This reserve has many animals such as deer, beautiful birds, bison and much more. If you are an animal lover and love nature, then this place is a must for you.
Corbett is not too far from Delhi. It hardly takes few hours to drive from Delhi to Jim Corbett. People from faraway places come to this city to make it big. If you are there for a conference, you can book a banquet hall in Delhi as there are too many venues for the same. After finishing the conference, you can always pay a visit to the national park to relax after a tiring week. It is a superb place for a weekend getaway. There are many hotels around the national park where you can stay. Some of them are beautiful resorts where you can stay peacefully and lavishly. There 2 star and 3 star hotels too which are not bad either.
Speaking of hotels in Corbett, if you have a tight budget then you will not have problems in finding accommodation within your budget. People from all over the world come to this national park. They stay in lodges, hotels, motels and luxurious resorts. Foreigners stay in small lodges for months and go on safaris every day. You too can go on safaris in the morning. You hotel manager will be able to guide you right. You can ask them to book a jeep for you and take you on a little safari to the national park. When you are in the jungle, you have to follow certain rules too. Your camera should not have flash and you cannot get off the jeep. You are not allowed to throw litter in the jungle and should not disturb the animals by making sounds and teasing them.
If you plan to visit Delhi after your little trip to Jim Corbett, then you can do that as well. Many people take a weekend break and then go to New Delhi for work. You could also book a banquet hall in Delhi for business meetings and other purposes. Corbett is not too far away and so, you could finish your work and then have a peaceful weekend at this beautiful national park.
So, forget everything else and visit this serene national park to have a pleasurable weekend. Make sure you travel here by road as it is an excellent experience. Have fun at Corbett!
