It explains why people should care about you, your subject, and what you are selling. Explain how your brand meets their needs. You can also put calls to action in a way to engage your readers. This explains why they should engage with you.

The how-to is the most common blog post type. The how-to is a great way to establish yourself as an authority in your niche and local market. Info-graphics are a hit. They perform well in social media. People love graphic content. It's easy, simple, quick, and it will be liked, shared, or repined. Do info-graphics do well on search engines? The jury is still out on that. But going viral with your info-graphics can only help your brand.
Video and Audio
Shoot a quick video or make a podcast as a blog post. You don't have to have text all the time. Just like sports sites show you a video with small description you can do the same. Your blog links to the video and your video links back to your blog. Do the same with your podcast.
