There are a lot of articles and guides outlining the best ways to earn money online. However, some of them can be confusing. Here are the 3Ws of earning online, a simple and easy-to-remember guide on how a regular Joe can be an online earning Joe in no time.
Website Development
Yes, the first of the 3Ws of earning onlineis about websites. This is only fitting since the guide is about earning on the web. Anyway, website development simply means that a person creates a webpage for companies, independent business owners or any person who wants an online page. For large companies, most website developers use codes and programming languages such as HTML and BB Code to create the websites. The process of creating a website out of codes and languages is known as hard coding.
Hardcoded websites usually have a lot of functions and trick. Programmers who perform a lot of hard coding can earn a lot of money. However, not all netizens know how to perform hard coding; hence blogs and other website platforms were born. Blogs are cheap (and sometimes free) avenues that allow regular people to come up with their own webpages and publish their contents.
The good news is, some small companies pay for regular people to create blogs or simple webpages for them. Now the pay may not be as huge as hard coded websites, but making simple websites is a fast and easy way to make money on the web.
Webhosting
The second of the 3Ws of earning onlineis webhosting. This is for people who have a little money to invest. To understand webhosting, it's good to picture a movie house. There are two parts to a movie, first is the screen which every person can see. The other part is the film reel which is hidden behind a wall at the back of the theater.
Now the movie is basically similar to the webpage. This is what all the people in the world can see. The film reel is the content of that webpage. People cannot see the content all at once. They'd have to click on a tab or link to generate a webpage that displays the rest of the content.
The room which contains the film reel is the webhosting company. Basically, webhosting is the storage unit of sorts for the webpages. Usually, webhosting is extremely expensive. But for anyone who has the money, he can just buy a webhosting account and split that into smaller and cheaper webhosting packages for those little website developers who can't afford to buy their own webhosting account. It's sort of like buying a floor in a building and renting out the rooms.
Writing
The last of the 3Ws is writing. There are 4 basic contents on the internet namely pictures, videos, sound and of course, words. Everyone uses words. The question is on how to earn with them.
To earn online using words, the goal is to string them into cohesive pieces of works called web content. A lot of people pay good money for the best web content available. Writers can make money by making articles about websites, new technologies, the latest video games and more.
Writers are among the most important members of the internet community and they are the best earners as well.
