Tarot cards, originally, were used like normal cards to play games. In later part of the 16th century it was realized that they could be associated with occult. They became a method of foretelling events in a person�s life. There are images on the cards that are depicted in complex and interesting ways that imply the philosophies of our daily lives.

There are 78 cards in a tarot deck. They are divided into the Major Arcana (22 cards) and the Minor Arcana (4 suits of 14 cards each).
