I am excited to announce that the 100th map was just published to the PLOTS Archive. This number is expected to rise faster because more MapKnitter projects are being added to the archive.

To publish your map to the archive, on MapKnitter, click the button to make it open-source and take the time to fill out the map details page for your project. Adding the date of the flight, the name of the map, the map makers, and any back story is great. Map details, ground photos, and other comments can also be added to the maps after they are published in the PLOTS Archive, but we cannot publish your map until the map is marked as "open-source" by the author on MapKnitter. The date of the map is a required data field to publish it to the archive as well.

Also, remember to ask for help from others in the PLOTS community and staff. There are people willing to help out in all stages of the process from getting started to finishing a map.

Looking forward to reaching 200!
