A couple of months ago, we asked you to vote for us in the MIT IDEAS Competitions. Thank you! We came very close to winning the $1500 Community Choice Award, but instead, we won something better - $7500 to continue OpenIR!
As a reminder, OpenIR is a web application from MIT and Brooklyn to democratize infrared satellite data. We'll be rolling out our first prototype in Jakarta this January. You can learn more about us at our website: http://openir.media.mit.edu/main/.
