1) Here are few highlights from a great week in mapping, don't forget to check out more below- farms, giant murals, auctions and conferences are all given an aerial view.

* Beverly Pearce, and Denizen Media's mapping workshop on the Shenandoah River has produced several miles of excellent map  and some local news coverage.

2) New Browser Apps and Features!
* Jeffrey Warren coded a prototype mobile phone thermographer for the web browser Opera Mobile, providing a new alternative to Glowdoodle when using the thermal flashlight. Jeff's notes are here. Jeff has also been debugging Mapknitter's image stacking order and map centering, give it a shot.

3)Conferences
*Adam Griffith is representing Public Laboratory at the EPA Region IV Environmental Justice Conference.

*Two teams of prospective Public Lab-affiliated SXSW 2013 panels would love for you to vote for them:
Public Lab, Pachube, Citizen Sensor and DontFlush.me are submitting Empowering Communities with Civic Science and Data
Brown U. and Public Lab are submitting Revolution on the Ground: Next Generation Maps
