balloon mapping this Friday at the Somerville Growing Center?

Hi everyone!    

A quick shout-out to the list --- Parts and Crafts is going to be doing balloon mapping this Friday at the Somerville Growing Center.    Any Somerville-based folks on this list are welcome to join us!    The Growing Center is a community garden + environmental education space just outside of Union Square in Somerville, Massachusetts.   Jeff has been doing some pretty great kite mapping with kids  (plus work on a pretty sweet chemical handling box).    We had been hoping to photograph the area last year with kids, and finally got ourselves together to make it happen during this session of camp.    

We're likely to have a crew of 7-12-year-olds, plus anyone else who wants to join.   All are welcome!    It has been tremendously exciting to see kids making and using these tools, and we're really grateful to have gotten to work with the Public Lab to bring them to a younger group of citizen scientists --- so in that regard, thanks for being so great!
