Beginning in February 2009, e-mail addresses with certain extensions
do not get (or perhaps do not reliably get) an unsubscribe link in
their e-mail messages. (This was reported here
http://groups.google.com/group/publicity-tools/browse_thread/thread/fb9ff1d7ea162227/14a819de51723a2b#14a819de51723a2b
but Google/FeedBurner has not fixed.) The extensions I have identified
are @
yahoo.com, @
msn.com and now @
att.com.
It was a pain but when a reader asked to be unsubscribed (and couldn't
do it themselves) I was able to manually search on the address within
FeedBurner's Manage E-mail Subscriber functions and manually delete.
Now the search function no longer works either. If my
sites had a handful of e-mail subscribers, no problem. But the two
sites have several thousand e-mail readers and scrolling through page
after page simply isn't workable.
FeedBurner, please fix this.
