Can I edit the CSS used to create the emails?

Hi,

I have a Wordpress blog that has a theme with a black background,
nearly white text, and orange headings. I would like to use this same
theme in the emails sent out to email subscribers, because the email
is black text on a white background.

Is there a way I can format the CSS for the emailed messages?

Do I ned to use Buzzboost to have this ability?
