Greetings,
I use Soundslides on my blog.  When the feed goes out via email, the slideshow shows up as "blocked plugin."
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Apple Mail is giving me the same problem with PDF and GIF files!  not only is the preview gone but it won't even send as an attachment.  Just shows "blocked plug-in" where the file preview used to be.  Found a solution yet?

Not exactly.  I converted all of the slideshows to html5, and now instead of a white box with "blocked plug-in," i get a black box that's just blank.  The slideshows do play on ipads/iphones now though, so that's nice.  I was really hoping someone with some serious computer knowledge could tell us what formats were acceptable to Apple Mail.  If Flash, Java and Html5 won't work, is there any way to get it to display rich content.

(Re: your problem with pdf's and gif's, I've never had that problem.  I somewhat suspect that the mail server you're trying to send things through is to blame, although you could try rebuilding all of your mailboxes and seeing if that helps (mailbox>rebuild)).
