Issue: Feedburner not sending out post updates.

I started my blog in Jan 2012. New blog notices went out almost
immediately or before the end of the day. I'm using Thesis.

In the last month, new blog notices are rarely going out at alI. I
even go through the “Troubleshootize” process, and seems to be “hit-&-
miss.” Ping results are fine. I even use the “Resyn” process.

What else can I troubleshoot? The delivery time selection seems to be
a joke. And yes, I post my blog before the delivery time.

I don't believe my feeds are too big - larger than 512K. How to I
check & is this something I can set up inside Thesis?

There was a reference to "reduce the number of items to appear in your
blog and feed. To do this, go to Blog > Settings > Posts." I don't
know the source for "Blog > Settings > Posts."

Are you using Wordpress dot com or Wordpress dot org? I have not had trouble with feeds on Wordpress dot com.

Sounds like you are already aware of the 512K maximum! I check that in Feedburner directly, to make sure the size of my feed isn't too large. I don't know how you would do that within Thesis template. Your second question is a good idea, to make sure you aren't including more stuff than you need in your feed. As you said, there is a setting that will allow you to have any of the following:
  1. Blog post title and several word excerpt,
  2. Entire text content of blog post, or
  3. Entire text content of blog post including images, maybe other stuff too e.g. video (not certain about that last part)
You asked about the source for that choice of options. I can navigate there from the main dashboard in Wordpress dot com for my Wordpress blogs. I don't know if it works differently for Wordpress dot org (or self hosted) blogs though.
