Can't set public DNS on PPC/G5/Leopard/AirportExtreme card/motel wireless internet access

Given the above configuration, the default DNS server 10.0.0.1 is
grayed out & unselectable & undeletable, and while I can add the
public DNS addresses, I can not move them ahead of the default in
priority.

Anybody know why this is? Is the DNS server being set by the wireless
router at the motel I'm staying at, leaving me unable to change it? Or
is there some other explanation? Thanks for any help.

10.0.0.1 in the addres of your rounter. So it will see if your router
first then check the DNS servers. This is a good thing.
