Anyone know how to Config Telstra Wireless USB to gDNS?

I've only got Telstra Wireless USB to work with. And it seems the IP's
are hard-coded into the hardware, and un-editable. I can add new IP
addresses, but cannot remove the default ones, nor reorder them so-as
gDNS are first in order.
Anyone ...?

I see the same thing with my laptop's wireless WAN network connection.
In both our cases, there doesn't seem to be any safe and simple way to
replace the DNS servers.
