I'm trying to display the data for the World Bank Development
Indicators, and it simply won't load - it just says "loading" and the
graph never appears.
I'm using IE 8, and other websites seem to be loading alright. I have
also tried it on Opera portable and it doesn't work.
Is there a solution to this problem? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hmm, that's not good. Are you sure that you have Adobe Flash installed
on the machine? You can test this by going to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/.
If that's not the problem, then I'll ask the engineering team to look
into this further. Thanks,

Could it have something to do with security settings or cookies? I
don't want to make this into a big deal for you guys if its because of
some security setting on our side.

We've been having trouble reproducing this problem on our test
systems. Can you try loading some visualizations again? If you're
still running into the problem, can you send us your precise IE
version number (found within IE by going to the help menu, then
selecting "About Internet Explorer") and also what flavor of Windows
you're using (e.g., 2000, XP, 7, etc.)? Thanks,

I'm using IE 8. The exact version is 8.0.6001.18702. I also tried it
on Opera portable (we don't have Firefox at work, and I'm unable to
install new programs) version 10.53.
I'm using Windows XP Professional service pack 3.
Thanks,

Thanks for sending the extra information. I think we've figured out
what the problem is, and we're working on a fix. I'll post an update
when that has been pushed out.

I'm having a similar problem when trying to embed two graphs on the
same page. One visualization will load, but the second is stuck on
"Loading..." I've tried reversing the order, and the same data set
still does not load.

I seem to be having a similar problem. I'm getting errors in the JS
console:
Uncaught java.lang.NullPointerException
explore:2602Uncaught com.google.gwt.event.shared.UmbrellaException:
One or more exceptions caught, see full set in
UmbrellaException#getCauses

I took a look, and the problem is that you need a time dimension in your slices. Without this, the Public Data Explorer will be confused because all of the visualizations are time-based. Are your data in time series? If not, then it may be better to use Fusion Tables ( http://www.google.com/fusiontables) or another tool that supports non-time-based visualizations as well.
Hope this helps,
