Marked bus-bays on FC Road

It is such a great thing to see the orderly movement of the buses into the marked and cordoned bus-bays on FC Road! This needs to standardize these ASAP at all major bus stops in Pune.

Yes. We have already taken up the
matter with Traffic Police, PMC and PMPML after successful trials at Ranade
Inst. bus stop on FC road. Next step is to shortlist some problem bus
stops in other areas and replicate the model. PMPML has undertaken survey
of bus stops on five major roads and they say findings will be available by
1st week August. Meanwhile some obvious locations can be considered but PMC says
road markings will be a problem due to rains.

Rains, we lose 3-4 months every year, do they take home half a salary
for these months?
There are fast drying paints, I have seen them in use - all one needs
is one dry day, easily done as even in ever changing climate of UK
they come up with pretty accurate 5 day forecasts.
