I don't use personal checks anymore. I can do a bank draft for $5. Who should it be made out to.

FRC Team 1195,

The LATEST schedule for the 3 Nov workshops.

Note to Mrs. McKenzie:  I did not hear back from Ron about whether the Autodesk Inventor class is booked. For now, only Julian Scott can attend those sessions for our team.

Note to Mr. Powell:  It looks like they would need a check written out.  Perhaps if you carried a check to write out $50 (or $45 since I will not be going) and everyone gave you their $5.  Everyone would have to get there before 8:30am.  Please read the details below.

Saturday, November 3:  BAA Education Day at JHU/APL

You are receiving this email because you registered at least one person for the BAA Education Day. Registration is now closed.
I cannot field any more inquiries about this event and apologize if this inconveniences anyone.

A detailed agenda is attached. There have been room changes and more sessions added since the last version.  Links to parking information is included.

Thank you to all the volunteers who have worked hard to pull together this day, as presenters and organizers.

A big thanks to Tom Milnes and the JHU/APL STEM Program Management Office for sponsoring the day.

These workshops are open to students, mentors, parents, and supporters of FRC in Maryland, and 250 people will be attending.

Please NOTE:

  • If you signed up a group for lunch, we will expect your payment as a group at the time of check in. If you signed up 30 people for lunch, we will expect payment for 30 lunches-$5 per registration = $150.  Checks may be made out to: "Baltimore Area Alliance".  If your team has had a change in plans or numbers, please info the staff at registration, but your total payment is still expected.  We may have a small wait list available for lunch, but expect to bring a lunch if you do not have a confirmed lunch ticket.
    Thank you for your understanding.
  • If you need to find the exact number of people you registered, search your mail for these subject lines: "STILL OPEN - Education Day Training Sessions for Maryland FRC Teams" or "Education Day Training Sessions for Maryland FRC Teams."  All registrations received a confirmation.

  •  Autodesk Inventor sessions.  Attendance must be limited to 12 seats /session because of computer lab size. Pre-registration is highly recommended – first come/first served. More information attached in the agenda. Send the team number and student name to: Ron Karpinski (karp...@comcast.net)

Go Teams!

Danielle,

Actually, only one person needs to write out a check. I thought that it could be Coach Powell.  Everyone will just give him their $5 and he writes out a check to "Baltimore Area Alliance" for the total.

Hello again,

The initial e-mail below implies that they are only accepting checks.  It is not totally clear.  Coach Powell bringing a check with him would be on the safe side.  They may?? take the total $45 in cash instead, however, they did not state, below, that they are taking cash.  There will be 9 of you.  If 10 people go, it would be $50.

In the attached schedule in initial e-mail I believe it runs 8:30am-4:30pm.  All want to get there by 8:00am to give their $5 to Coach Powell.  Coach Powell would have to respond to this e-mail with the time that he can make it there.

Jill,

You are quite welcome. Anthony, Gregory, and Julian are all registered for the morning sessions of Autodesk Inventor. Ron responded with the confirmation.

I will have the laptop ready to give to Coach Powell to give to Anthony and Gregory in the morning for the LabVIEW afternoon session.

Resending updated Schedule for the FINAL time:

Julian Scott, Anthony McKenzie, and Gregory McKenzie are registered for the three (3), I believe all three? (since they are progressive), morning Autodesk Inventor sessions.  Computers are already provided for these sessions.

I am sorry that I cannot go.  I will provide my daughter's green laptop (for Gregory and Anthony for the afternoon LabVIEW session since they will be attending the morning Autodesk Inventor sessions) and 10 new tickets (for all) to Coach Powell in the morning before he departs for JHU/APL.  I pray and hope that you all have safe trips and a great time!!
