But it also seems to show something is &lt;br&gt; Russell&amp;gt; different in the last couple days. I&#39;ll try to get over &lt;br&gt; Russell&amp;gt; there tomorrow to check it out.   first time here, first exposure to whatever this new software is. i&#39;m used to the system down at the Fresh Pot, which works. great. But this node is running some totally different OS from NoCatSplash. &lt;br&gt; This node loses my login every five minutes! I have to login over and over and over ... &lt;br&gt; also i never get forwarded to the site i was trying to reach. I have to re-enter it manually.

  The connection has been extremely erraticfor weeks. It will come on and off throughout the day and sometimes wont work for days. My computer says it is connected to the node but the node is not connected to the internet. It will say &amp;quot;local access only.&amp;quot; I have contacted Dennis at Labarre via email and phone, but I don&#39;t want to continuously bother him since this is a wonderful service they provide.   Mike, the problem is likely that your neighbor is broadcasting his &lt;br&gt; 802.11N signal on 5.8ghz rather than 2.4ghz. Switch to 2.4ghz and you &lt;br&gt; will likely be able to at least &amp;quot;see&amp;quot; the network. If after switching &lt;br&gt; you are still having trouble connecting, any of your 2.4ghz antennas &lt;br&gt; below should be able to help out.
