Our longtime node at Rodney and Skidmore recently lost its internet
connection last week. The chimney the access point is connected to is
going to be taken down and rebuilt. The equipment may be resurrected
at the property owners own home at a later date, but that is currently
uncertain. If people who used this node are missing it (and we've had
a few queries about it so far), we've offered to help them set up
another one if they can come up with a sharable internet connection.
We'll see.
On a brighter note, I plugged in a new node a few days ago at the new
LuckyLab, coming soon to North Killingsworth, in the old Roux space.
It'll be called the Tap Room. They are not open yet, but the node is
active. Thanks to Gary Geist, the Lucky Lab owner, all four Lucky Lab
locations are Personal Telco nodes. We have briefly talked about this
new location being an anchor of one of the redeployed SkyPilot device
networks in the future.
Enjoy!
