1. A Wireless Network for Avalanche Air Bags
The most extreme winter athletes in the world are in Vancouver
this week at the Winter Olympics. But when in altogether less
controlled conditions, they might need this tool: an air bag for
avalanches-- now in wireless. German engineers added a wireless
network to the survival tool, allowing anyone in a group of
