We regret to inform you that due to a flight delay which resulted in a misconnection in Newark; the delegation will return to Rochester on split flight.  Please see below for the arrival flight and time of your delegate:

 

July 31, 2011:      Continental flight 4855 departing Newark at 11:30AM and arriving in Rochester at 12:45PM

Nancy Culling (leader), Olivia Berardi, Julia Catena, Hunter Consler, Madeline Donowsky, Matthew Fiore, Cassandra Flamm, London Gross, and Gabrielle Hubbard.  

 

Continental flight 4851 departing Newark at 5:00PM and arriving in Rochester at 6:23PM

Did anyone besides Marc receive this e-mail?  (Thanks, Marc, for passing it along!).  I had this information already, but it would've been nice to get the "official" word...  Sorry.  Just frustrated at the turn of events today.  I realize there's not much that can be done until tomorrow, but...

No, I did not receive this email !!!! 

 

I am also very frustrated.  I do not have a smart phone and believe it or not, was somewhere that did not have internet access. I left that place to come home so that I could get the information, only to find none of any consequence.
Although I appreciated the phone tree communication, it was not at all definitive, and came very late. AND There was no update when there was information. Again, my understanding was that this was the means of communication to be used for mass messages.  I only joined this google group at the last minute and thank goodness I did.... I am very glad that this all came about over something as minor as a flight delay and the kids are safe. 

 

I am not at all thrown by the fact that there was a flight issue, there usually is.  I am not complaining that they did not get back in time. 

 

I am extremely dissatisfied with the communication. period. good experience or not, that's my kid and I expect to be given official word and updated by P2P directly.

I’m very sorry for the frustration that has been caused with the return flights for the delegation.  The parent email address we have associated with Darby’s account is anag...@aol.com, and that is where the notification emails were sent.  Darby will travel with the group departing Newark at 5:00pm on Continental 4851.  If there are any further changes, I will be sure to confirm them with you at suza...@aol.com.
