Paul, The levelling the panohead/tripod is irrelevant.  It doesn't
affect the stitching accuracy.  What is important is that the camera
rotates (vertically and horizontally) about a fixed point where the
entrance pupil of the lens is located.  So you need to check for
parallax effects both horizontally and vertically.
