If the camera is being rotated about a fixed no parallax point (NPP)
and you are optimizing correctly, the images should align ok.
However, you were not rotating about a fixed NPP as you adjusted the
levelling between shots.

Probably.

You must not level each shot, as levelling changes the entrance pupil
position (the NPP). Level the panorama head at the start (I assume
you have the camera mounted on a panorama head), and then leave the
levelling alone.
