Not sure I understand the question but I hope this helps, the program
behind the Preview Button is QuickTime and my equirectangular jpeg is
360x180?  I have found through trial and error that the workflow I
described earlier is the one that works for me.  Everybody has or will find
their own.  Not really a "one size fits all" kind of thing.
